Response to VP Leni Robredo reading “Digong Dilaw” to the kids of Tondo, Manila

I would like to clarify this issue about VP Leni Robredo yesterday regarding her reading the “Digong Dilaw” book for the kids of Tondo, Manila. I was there and I believe I am highly involved in this issue. This is my response to Mr. Francis Abraham’s facebook post yesterday.

I am Jam Ong, the founder of the Dubredo Army • Duterte-Robredo,a group who STAUNCHLY supports President Duterte and VP Leni amidst all the political and personal misunderstandings and issues. Moreover, we are not employed or under any government offices, we are an individual group who has our own principles and mission. We volunteer, we help, we donate, we promote unity between the president and vice president over diversity. (Feel free to question who and why I support them, I’d love to refute.)

Our group volunteered to help her anti-poverty program (Metrolaylayan) yesterday, November 6, and I was one of those who were assigned on the day care activities.

Our group owns the Digong Dilaw book that VP Leni read yesterday to the kids. Again, it is a book written by our national artist Virgilio S. Almario way back in 2003 (it was published even before the divisive issues between the president and the “yellows” rose to public).

VP Leni already read this story to the kids before in Camarines Sur way back in 2017 (READ: Digong Dilaw? Robredo picks book on yellow-loving kid for storytelling session) and has expressed her admiration for the book during her radio interviews, I’m actually surprised how it made noise just now when it was her second time reading it lol!

Now, I was the one who personally asked her to read it because I’m a Dubredo (DUterte and roBREDO supporter) and ‘Digong’ and ‘Dilaw’ are in the title, the irony is just perfect but aside from that, I don’t see anything wrong with the story being told to the children as it actually is about a boy named Digo who is very much into yellow foods and the lesson of the story is to also eat other kinds/colors of food aside from yellow. Relating it to this political world, I still don’t think it is wrong because looking at the story at a deeper aspect, the plot actually encourages the readers to NOT be biased with colors and open our eyes to the other options as well. Let’s be objective here. Let’s fathom into the issues deeper.

Also, looks like most just read the title of the book and didn’t bother to read its content before criticizing VP Leni for reading it. The lesson is deep, the lesson is meaningful and important. Actually Sass Sasot (A staunch Duterte supporter) posted about it before I think way back in 2016 finding the irony also humorous, why are we so mad now? How are most DDS reacting negative to this now? I thought we love humor because our President has it? Spare the vice president from the accusations that this is a PR stunt, our intentions are pure.

Lastly, I didn’t ask her (VP Leni) to read it to mind-condition the children or to generate a PR stunt for her or in favor of anyone. I asked her to read it because we mutually admire the irony and the lesson the book can bring PLUS I personally like to promote the book to support our very own national artist, Virgilio S. Almario. 😊 Support our own, support the local, yeah? Unity is the beginning of growth of this country.

Yours truly,

Jam Ong

When President Duterte and VP Leni talk about each other

As much as I think VP Leni feels so liberated talking about President Duterte on her interviews, talks and media engagements, President Duterte feels the opposite. Not that he feel oppressed or he doesn’t enjoy talking about her but it’s more of that he doesn’t feel very comfortable talking about her maybe because he is afraid that his words and opinions about her might get misinterpreted — by her or the people — just like what happened in Tacloban last November 2016.

When President Duterte talks about VP Leni

President Duterte is not so good in expressing his thoughts straight to the point, I can say that even if I am a staunch supporter of him, it’s kind of like his weakness. Now there was a time he spoke about VP Leni in front of the public and everyone misinterpreted his whole thought from the real idea that he wants to convey — wanting to protect her from the eyes of the others — to the whole idea that he was ogling at her legs and perverting around.

Ever since that instance, I felt like he changed. He started to feel insecure talking about her in public.

Whenever he is composed and the media asks him about her, he strives so hard to pick the right words. I remember observing his gesture of snapping as he try to think of the most precise and accurate word to describe VP Leni and her works. Other than that, when he also describes her (physically and intellectually) as follows:

1. Beautiful – yes, he uses this term to describe her all the time and he never described her as just a pretty or cute or hot or alluring — she is purely beautiful to him. Pay attention to that choice of word.

10 Reasons why I believe President Duterte is for Leni Robredo

I repeat again, I am both pro-Duterte and pro-Robredo. Previously, I wrote a blog post about the five reasons why I believe VP Leni Robredo is for President Duterte (read here) and I believe this blog post is in relate to that. I don’t wanna sound so bias saying it’s only VP Leni who’s all sincere about unity so I made this.

As you can see, I only wrote five (5) reasons why on my last post, that is because VP Leni is a lady and dapat mas reserved (lol!). Now this, I lay to you ten reasons why I believe that President Duterte likes VP Leni Robredo as a co-government official and most importantly, as a person.

1. Maganda talaga siya. Let’s start with the elections period. Leni Robredo ran with the Liberal Party, the party well-known to be the complete opposite of Digong’s side but not because of it’s policies but its known members and people. Digong is tactless, if he doesn’t like you, he’ll say it, he’ll throw shades on you but during the elections he chose to praise the lady in yellow named, Leni Robredo. (WATCH: Duterte wants ‘beautiful’ Leni Robredo as assistant president)

Duterte blushes over Leni Robredo when the media asked him why he wants her to be his assistant president.

I know a lot have seen this video so I wouldn’t fathom further but I would like to mention the time that Digong was throwing shade at Mar Roxas and then he pulled the brakes and said ‘dinamay pa yung matinong babae’ wherein he is referring to Leni Robredo as the matinong babae. To think, Digong and Leni aren’t close friends that time and it was elections, she is from the other side and she isn’t his running mate. He could’ve easily dragged her with Mar Roxas but he chose to exempt her instead.

Now this is the time for you, reader, to think about it.

2. Diamond ring for Leni Robredo. This instance I’m about to mention is when Digong was asked what position will he be giving to Leni Robredo when she started leading the VP race. Let me just point out that he was ranting before this question was thrown at him so I was expecting a negative statement from him but then guess what he said?

“Ano bang magandang singsing?”

(WATCH: Duterte plans to give Leni a ring)

His dimmed mood turned light when he was asked about Leni and it’s just amusing because he shouldn’t be talking that way about her during elections — politics-wise — because he might deliver supporters to her with that instance, eh hindi naman siya ang running mate niya but he didn’t care.

Also, Digong is a ladies’s man who doesn’t really like associating himself with putting so much effort to win a woman’s heart or affection or have someone to marry him but then aside from this ring statement, he also once dared Leni to marry him.

Shocking right?

Sige, dalaga man siya. Pakasalan niya ako.”

(READ: Digong challenges Leni to marry him)

He once challenged though we all know it’s uttered in jest but jokes are half meant and we all know that this man likes that lady in yellow.

How I wish VP Leni rebutted that dare (also in jest) with something like “Sige, nasaan na ang singsing?” To light up the mood ‘di ba?

Si Honeylet nga di niya niyaya magpakasal pero si Leni niyaya niya. Who’s the real winner here? Hahaha! But on a serious note, kapag cinonsider niya yung kasal with a lady, you know he really likes her. Look at ma’am Elizabeth Zimmerman, Digong proudly says that he loves her and he even married her. Kahit kilalang ladies’ man yang si Digong, alam mo talaga kapag seryoso siya sa babae eh.

3. Lady with a Mona Lisa smile. Digong never described Leni the way he describes most women. We all know the typical adjectives he use to praise women like sexy, hot or delicious but hey, he never used those terms to this lady in yellow. There are so many instances that he described Leni Robredo but it has always been respectful. He said she is very beautiful, kind and very ladylike, she is very reserved lady with a Mona Lisa smile, he once said her beauty is something that hypnotizes him that he finds himself just staring at her every time she speaks — it has always been like that. He never described her in a manner that it sounds disrespectful or something that could be misinterpreted.

img_9451
Digong with his bungisngis lady, Leni Robredo.

If you would think about it, why is she so special? Why is he so careful about her? Why does he talk about her and describe her that way like she’s so special to him? Or maybe she really is?

Duterte teases Robredo: ‘I love to see my vice president’

Dad has always been proud of his beautiful vice president. It’s really a nice view not just for me but to all Filipinos.

Dubredo Army • Duterte-Robredo

President Rodrigo Duterte teased Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday, calling her “my lady” at the graduation of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 2018 in Silang, Cavite.

“This is the third time that I have greeted you, my lady. Una sa PMA in Baguio, then Fort Bonifacio kahapon at dito ngayon. Sana po may graduation pang iba para magkita pa rin tayo. I love to see my vice president,” Duterte told a smiling Robredo, who was among the guests in the event.

On Tuesday, Duterte ribbed Robredo, saying she was on the agenda of the late night meeting of the National Security Council Executive Committee on Monday.

It was the third time in a week that Duterte and Robredo shared the same stage.

The two attended the graduation rites of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Alab Tala Class of 2018 on Sunday in Baguio City and the…

How does Bongbong Marcos use Leni Robredo to keep himself relevant?

A Marcos just lost to a Robredo despite that strong heavy well-known name. Pretty hurts, does it?

Pero papano ko nga ba nasabi na ginagamit lang ni Bongbong Marcos si Leni Robredo?

How? Paano? Sa anong paraan?

After niyang matalo sa vice presidential race noong 2016, nag-file ang former senator ng electoral protest that says that his rival, VP Leni Robredo, cheated her way to the vice president position.

Why bother to file a protest, ang dami nang nag-electoral protest noon pero wala namang naging successful?

Two things. It’s his only way to keep himself relevant and it’s a chance to take in hopes that he can still get that vice president title from the one seated.

Sinasabi niya noon na gusto niya yung vice president position dahil gusto niya maglingkod sa bayan then guess what? There are other ways to serve the country, Mr. Marcos.

But then oo nga pala, that’s just his sweet sugar reasoning. Of course he wants to be the vice president because he needs the power.

He requested for a recount and he had the right to choose the regions kung saan kukunin yung mga ballots to have it recounted again. Some people may find it surprising because the three places he chose were all Leni Robredo’s bailiwick, BALWARTE ni Leni.

Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros.

Malamang sa malamang, hindi talaga siya mananalo sa recount na yon pero if you were to think about it, why did he choose those places?

Nagsisimula ka pa lang sa plano mo, alam ko na ang ending na gusto mo, Mr. Marcos.

He chose those places to appear confident but at a deeper purpose, he is aiming to stain the credibility of the votes from these places. I bet he’s not after the results but he’s after the largest to tiniest discrepancies and errors of the ballots from those places so that he can use it as a ground to nullify and discredit the votes from the said places. Mga galawang talo.

You need proofs?

1. Presscon agad si BBM when the recount started.

2. Hatak agad ni BBM mga supporters niya sa labas ng SC with Imee Marcos and his wife then kamayan to everyone like it’s elections again.

3. Look at BBM and his lawyers’ statements as the recount began. They immediately pointed out na meron ilang ballots na basa, may mga ballots na may cracks and holes, hindi daw kumpleto ang auditing logs and these are all anomalies DAW.

Yes, DAW. Because that is just according to the two of them.

Wet ballots. It happens. Probably due to moist upon storage but automated polls has this perk that upon voting, the machine doesn’t just produce this ballot paper but they also produce a digital image of the ballot so wet ballot or not, we still have these digital images to look at. Also, where are the proofs of wet ballots? I need receipts. Also, if this actually affects the credibility of the ballots then ano yon? VP candidates part lang ng ballots ang affected? VP part lang yung basa? Lol! Try harder. NOT an anomaly.

Cracks/Holes on ballots. It also happens. Halos dalawang taon nang nakastore yung mga balota. What do you expect it to look like? Clean white slate sheet of papers? Please. Also, there are digital copies of it so we can still verify to be sure. NOT an anomaly.

Auditing Logs. It has nothing to do with the count of votes and ballots. With or without auditing logs, the votes on the ballot still counts because wala namang relate yung auditing logs sa count ng votes sa ballot. Also, missing auditing logs can be easily reproduced and it is in the hands of the COMELEC. Some netizens go like kung hindi nandya si Leni bakit may mga nawawalang auditing logs? (Pal, do you even know what auditing logs are for or are you just acting like you know something?) NOT an anomaly.

Obviously, Bongbong knows he was really defeated by Leni Robredo but he’s still playing this patriot, ipaglalaban-ko-ito-dahil-gusto-ko-maglingkod-sa-bansa who’s so frustrated for being cheated on so that he can earn the sympathy of the people and with that, he can raise his rank to the next senatorial race or maybe even the next presidential race.

I must say, Bongbong Marcos is a great politician but not too good to convince me that he is purely working and fighting for the Filipinos and the country. You’re just some power hungry man, try to do outreach, organize charity works and livelihood programs, donate and help the poor if you’re really into the Philippines and its people.

P.S: There’s a difference between a politician and a public servant and clearly, BBM is a politician.

Okay, I’m done here. *drops mic*

Criticisms against Vice President Leni Robredo

It’s been a while since I started to staunchly support this lady named, Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo so I believe I have the right to write to fathom into the criticism thrown at her as a person and as a public figure. Ready? Ready.

VP Leni Robredo, me and her Duterte bear

WALANG GINAGAWA. A lot of critics drag VP Leni Robredo because she’s doing nothing as the vice president. I say, she is doing a lot of things — things that are actually beyond her mandate and people should pay attention and appreciate that.

Vice president’s main role is basically to be ready to replace the president in case anything happens to the seated president. Next thing is for her to act as a ceremonial person of the president on national events. The president is fine so it’s reasonable for Leni to not do her first role yet and about being the ceremonial person, I believe she is doing that role well.

What else does Leni Robredo do?

1. She has a program under her office called Angat Buhay that acts as an agent in order to encourage private sectors to reach out to the people at the margins of the society (mga tao sa laylayan) and those in need in order to provide free services and assistance such as health care, legal assistance, free medicines, PhilHealth/SSS application and more. (If you need more info about this, feel free to contact me because I’m a part of this program. I’d be glad to answer your queries.)

2017 Independence Day in Luneta

2. She graces and attends national events and ceremonies like Independence day, Rizal Day, National Heroes Day, military graduation rites, etc. It’s part of her mandate. Ano ba yung mandate? (Yan yung trabaho niya. It’s like work description).

3. She supports the president’s plans and works and voices out her reservations and concerns. That should always be the case! Hindi pwedeng support ng support na lang lagi, that’s dumb. You should know when to support and when to oppose and not just because you opposed on a certain policy mean that you are destabilizing the president or the admin. Wag tanga, wag retard.

4. She attends military briefings under DND secretary Delfin Lorenzana. This raises her office awareness about current issues that involves the soldiers, terrorists, military and armies in the country — with this, her office can help in proper dissemination of news and updates about our country’s state in such matter.

DND Lorenzana also said in an interview that it is President Duterte’s order to his office to give frequent briefings to VP Leni as she is the next in line if anything happens to him.

5. Under OVP’s Angat Buhay program is Angat Kabuhayan which promotes indigenous, native and local products (handmade local bags and apparel, furnitures from indigenous materials, food from our native plants, etc) to the market in order to help the local producers and makers to earn and to publicize ang sariling atin.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Most of her critics come from President Rodrigo Duterte’s side and I believe the reason behind this is that the people expects her accomplishments and works to be equal with Digong’s. That’s really a sick because:

1. Digong is the president, Leni is the vice president and those two roles have different mandate.

2. Digong has been serving for over twenty years, Leni just entered politics (Do your research, pal).

Cut the comparison mindset.

TAINTED WOMAN. They say she’s a mistress. They say she had an abortion in America. They say she loves to fuck around with her subordinates. They equated her “well-oiled machineries” description to fucking machines when in fact she was referring to her irrational critics and bashers when she said well-oiled machineries.

Seriously?

The problem here is that the critics should take VP Leni Robredo seriously. She is not just a female, she is not just a politician who you badly hate, she is the vice president of the Philippines.

VICE PRESIDENT.

“She [Leni Robredo] is very ladylike and kind.”

— President Duterte to VP Leni

It’s true. Leni Robredo is very ladylike, very reserved and well poised but of course, do we really expect her harsh critics to accept this fact about her? I might need to see Digong and have a video of him saying how respectable lady Leni Robredo is for these irrational critics to take this fact in.

Anyways, the point here is that take Leni Robredo seriously. Pay attention to the work she is doing and learn how to appreciate. Don’t let the people at the higher office from her political party define your view on her.

Leni Robredo is different, she has her own mind.

AMATEUR VICE PRESIDENT. Ilang taon palang na congresswoman tapos nag-vice president agad.

Oh well.

I agree with the “amateur” description because she just started her political career years ago and I must admit that I also see Leni Robredo as politically amateur.

Is that a bad thing?

Definitely not. Leni Robredo may have this weak tactics to promote what she do, she might not be so loud on social media, hindi man siya marunong masyado sa mga galawang ng politiko para mas makita ng tao yung mga nagagawa niya but that’s not a very bad thing.

You see, Leni Robredo is more of a public servant than a politician. There’s a difference between the two and I swear to God that we need more of a public servant than a politician. However, I believe she still has to learn the ways of being a politician because in order to create a strong impact, you should know how to become a public servant and a great politician at the same time.

With regards to the jumping from congresswoman to vice president, I believe it’s reasonable because she’s a public servant and being seated as the vice president gives her a wider scope and a bigger office to help the people. Despite this huge leap, the principles are still right, the intentions are still pure and no laws were violated. Case closed.

Duterte and Robredo in Tacloban

Tuhod Misunderstanding

“Duterte does not always know the right words to say and that is why he often needs an interpreter, an explainer.”

—Patmei Ruivivar, Duterte’s Chief of Staff in Davao for 7 Years

This is something that you should understand. Filipino isn’t Duterte’s first language but bisaya, the language commonly used in Davao. He once admitted this in one of his speeches, hirap siyang mag-Filipino. As a matter of fact he actually speaks English better than Filipino. This is also the reason why he always gets misinterpreted and taken out of context.

Kung mapapansin niyo when he speaks minsan parang bitin or putol and he doesn’t even bother to continue it anymore because he thinks nagets na ng nakikinig kahit minsan mahirap talaga maintindihan.

If you would also pay attention to most of his speeches, he always share stories. Minsan paulit ulit yung mga kwento niya na parang wala namang point or connect sa issue but then if you would listen closely, you’ll understand why he’s talking about it.

One example is when he shared about his thoughts about his vice president, Leni Robredo, wearing short skirts when she was still a member of the cabinet.

Is that what he really meant? Did he share that story to tell the people to brag about the fact that he had a chance to ogle on his VP’s knees or legs? No.

Let’s move further sa speech niyang yon. He followed it by sharing that she noticed that they are distracted by the length of her skirt, she started to pull it down.

Digong jested, “ma’am mag-shorts ka nalang kaya? Bakit maiigsi igsi ka na damit?”

Of course, some might interpret it like he’s feasting over the fact that she’s wearing a short skirt and he’s being a pervert but what he really wanted was to let her know that he doesn’t like it when she wears short skirts, he doesn’t like it when the protocol officers and the eyes of the people feasts over her body, he was just being protective. He also said on another speech that VP Leni is a respectable woman, she’s someone he finds very ladylike, a lady with a Mona Lisa smile. She’s not just some eye candy, she was a lady he respects and values and he is just being this protective man to his vice president, he might just be having troubles in finding the right way to do it.

Low Key Comforting

Tacloban Leyte is one of Bongbong Marcos’ bailiwick and the fact that he is present on that event at the same time with VP Leni, siya ang magmumukang bida but President Duterte didn’t let that happen. He made a way to make him and VP Leni a highlight dimming Bongbong Marcos and whatever tension is gonna happen between him and Leni.

During his speech, he kept mentioning VP Leni. Teasing her and low key confessing his deep admiration of her in a pure way. Moreover, ito lang yata yung pagkakataon na nailabas niya yung mga bagay na matagal na niya gusto sabihin sakanya.

Kung saan siya (Leni) naga-punta nagapasunod sunod ako. Byuda kase, anulled man ako. (video link)” I believe this is something he’s been wanting to tell her he just don’t know how and when and when he had the chance during that time, he did. He proudly professed in front of the crowd of her rival’s bailiwick. It’s also surprising that the people there were blushing and cheering for Duterte and Robredo, it only shows that there are really a lot of people rooting for them as well. Sinong bida ngayon? Kahit balwarte yan ni Bongbong Marcos, si Leni Robredo and naging bida dito and that’s all because of Duterte’s efforts.

Tacloban

Let me also point out that Romualdez (BBM’s cousin) and BBM himself were seen blushing and smiling as Duterte professes his admiration for his vice president. Even the most serious people like Jun Evasco, Bong Go, Mark Villar, Gina Lopez and Judy Taguiwalo were giggling and blushing over Dubredo. Who’s winning here? Leni.

That’s not the only time that the president front lined and praised his vice president. He jested about looking at beautiful women when he’s mad in order to ease off his anger then he paused and turned back to look at VP Leni Robredo, “Malaman niyo ‘pag ako galit, sige lang ako magtingin ng magagandang babae. (video link)“. Cristina Romualdez was there, Yedda Kittilsvedt was there, Gina Lopez was there but he only looked at VP Leni and referred her as the only beautiful lady he’d like to see to calm him down when he’s mad. Everyone cheered, it didn’t even feel like it was BBM’s bailiwick, Dubredo overshadowed it — Duterte and Robredo together is that powerful.

Stay Here Beside Me

It was a protocol for President Duterte to walk ahead of everyone during the commencement but it was seen in the video that the president keeps looking back and holding VP Leni’s arm to keep her on his side and keep her from being left behind. She even blushed when he stopped walking and turned to wait for her to catch up. He didn’t want her to feel left out so he made an effort and defied the protocols for her.

IMG_3305.JPG

The president also assisted her in lighting up the candles. He was very accommodating to her all throughout the event despite that former senator Bongbong Marcos was there. There was also an instance when VP Leni said it was fine if she’ll walk behind him as it is the protocol but President Duterte insisted that they walk side by side, it was seen that VP Leni appreciated his gestures.

Jealous President, Jealous Duterte

This part of this post is somehow subjective and is based on my analyzation of President Duterte’s persona but I hope you keep reading.

Duterte is a very confident, independent man. He’s not the kind of man who would run after a person, he can stand on his own but who would have thought that someone like Leni Robredo can make this man feel insecure or jealous?

During his speech in Tacloban, he mentioned about hearing rumors about Leni having a boyfriend (video link). He asked her for confirmation live but the vice president denied and said these rumors are false, he believed her. After then he jested, “Eh kung totoo yon ma’am may mapatay na congressman na bago.” Despite that he didn’t actually mean it, you could feel his insecurity and jealousy over that unnamed person. Possessive pala ang pangulo, gusto niya sakanya lang tinutukso ang very beautiful vice president niya.

President Duterte makes women come and go in his life, he once said he doesn’t want to exert effort for women now especially that he is not getting any younger but despite these jealousy that the rumors about VP Leni gives him, he still chose to keep admiring her. It’s silly and fascinating at the same time, I don’t blame him because she’s really beautiful and knowing President Duterte, he really has a thing for ladies ages 30+ and up, very ladylike, kind and reserved — he always describe her this way, it’s something unusual because he tend to describe the women he’s attracted to in a physical manner like delicious and sexy — Leni Robredo was different, she was precious to him, she’s always at the top of his mind, she was his lady with a Mona Lisa smile, he once said.

Buti ‘yan kay (Leni) mabait, the smile of Mona Lisa‎‎,” said Duterte. ‎

If only VP Leni Robredo knows how much President Duterte values her, she would know to herself how powerful she is because she can make a Rodrigo Duterte listen and turn not just because he is fond of her but also because they share the same goal — leading this country for the better.

5 Reasons why I believe that Leni Robredo is for Duterte

Everyone knows I’m a pro-Duterte and a pro-Robredo at the same time. The ones on the right sometimes tell me they doubt that VP Leni is sincere about her support to President Duterte, the ones on the left sometimes tell me it’s only Duterte who likes VP Leni and it is impossible that VP Leni is fond of him so I decided to create this post.

Here are the five things about VP Leni Robredo that proves that she is sincerely supportive of President Duterte at work and personally fond of him behind the eyes of the mainstream. There might be some insiders here but I’ll spill it because I want you all to believe again that our president and our vice president are all for unity and even if a lot tries so hard to pit them against each other, they still have their own mind and decisions. With that said, they both choose to believe and protect each other.

1.Go to VP Leni’s office and you’ll see her Diggy bear seated beside her own self bear.

Last February 2018, I visited her office and saw Leni bear holding a heart balloon, bigay yata ni Diggy bear. Cutie.

A Commentary to Leni Robredo’s interview with Daniel Razon

I really liked the interview of VP Leni with Daniel Razon for his Get It Straight show on UNTV (video link) so I am gonna make a commentary about it here on my blog and accompany it with the screenshots of the vice president’s statements.

Communication is very important sa kahit anong relationship — working, personal, professional, kahit ano.

It’s frustrating kung bakit parang hirap na hirap ang pangulo at vice president sa aspect na ‘to but then I remembered, ang dami palang sipsip sakanila (especially to the president) as an individual so ang daming humaharang, ang daming humahadlang.

Yet then, I still hope they work out on this. If it’s necessary for them to buy separate phones where they can contact each other through it, do it. It’s for the Philippines and the Filipinos!!!

This is a fact. Don’t even argue if you’re just some irrational anti-Duterte being.

Why would you want drag the incumbent president of your state down? Because you don’t like him? I have sad news for you, you’re in a democratic country and whether you like him or not, he’s your president. So instead of dragging him down, calling him names, labelling him, why don’t you respectfully call him out if he’s doing against your principles? Why don’t you just wish him to be better? Why don’t you just pray that he’ll be able to lead our state well?

Honestly, VP Leni is spitting real words here. If you want to destabilize the president, in whatever manner, it will affect the nation, it will affect the Philippines.

Kung matanggal siya sa pwesto, kung maimpeach siya, what will happen next? Imbis na matutukan yung mas mahahalagang issues ng bansa such as poverty, malamang sa malamang karamihan mas tututok sa impeachment, some will even take advantage of the chaos making the chaos even more chaotic. No thank you.

Duterte is my president and Leni is my vice president. Period. Tapos. The end. Bye.

Don’t come at me again with that UN video. After that incident, the admin, DND Secretary Lorenzana both briefs VP Leni Robredo with regards to the output of war on drugs and the operations done by the administration. Some of you might not think about this but I believe this is how they make up for their shortcomings before in informing and responding to the vice president.

With that said, this is now VP Leni defending President Duterte. It is not the president who propagates/promotes EJK but the disappointing policemen who takes the president’s support, their power and weapons for granted.

If you also remember, it has also been one of President Duterte’s rants that corrupted police officers really give him a problem in achieving his goal of stopping the spread of drug use and securing the safety of the Filipinos. I believe they both share the same opinion of this.

Agree.

This is why amidst the destructive issues thrown against you, the president and the both of you, together, I still choose to believe in the truth that unity between Leni Robredo and Rodrigo Duterte are our hope and you two are two of the few ones in the government who sincerely cares for this country and the Filipinos.

Again, you are our hope. Work hand in hand, work together. Please don’t fail us who believes in you.

There is no perfect politician so we should support when there’s a need to support and oppose when there’s a need to oppose. One should not tolerate the wrongdoings and lost choices despite that it comes from their favorite politician or figure.

However, people should take note that it is not healthy to call out loudly in a way that it sounds like dissing and humiliating the said official. We should be sensitive, we should know how to call out in a respectful way because honestly, the official is more likely to listen with such approach. Put yourself into their shoes.

Kung may thesis kayo or group work. Who would you like to hear out? The one who yells at you with “Ang bobo mo! Wala kang kwenta. May typo ka sa abstract. Mamatay ka na, wala kang silbi. Perwisyo.” Or the one who goes, “Uy, may typo ka sa abstract. Okay lang ba i-revise mo?”

Sabi ni VP Leni na dapat cinocorrect ang mali so I’ll correct her in this.

That’s about 9x a year mom. Nastress ako sa twice or thrice a year. Feels like forever ba? Hahaha!

Only proves you’re not the trapo kind who only works on freshening up their image. Balimbing kung balimbing, jump from LP to PDP for convenience kase malakas si President Duterte and he’s a part of PDP- Laban kaya lipat kung lipat (I know a lot who ditched LP and jumped to PDP-Laban just right after Duterte won. Lahat ng partido maganda ang mga principles but if you’ll look at the people inside it, pareho lang ring maraming trapo. Don’t also get back at me with ‘mas okay ang PDP-Laban sa LP’ dahil lang nandon si PRRD. WAG AKO.)

I’m quite sure the reason why President Duterte exempts you from all the other trapo from your party and still appreciates you is because he sees that you really have a stand, you go by your principles, the real principles of the Liberal Party — not the trapo principles.

Personally, I think Liberal Party is fine as a party. It’s just that there are people from it who sits on the higher office who acts like a trapo causing a bad reflection of the party as a whole, dragging down the good ones with them. I admit that there are people from the party that I don’t really appreciate (just wanna clarify that I don’t judge the politician by their party but their person) but then here I am appreciating VP Leni and some other people from the said party.

This is something that Duterte and Leni both practice and preach. Ito yung isang reason kung bakit mahal na mahal ko ‘tong dalawang ‘to e. May times na mas special pa yung kilos ng mga tao nila kesa sakanila to think na sila yung president and vice president.

If you get a chance to be around them, iisipin mo parang ang hirap makalapit sakanilang dalawa, ang hirap makakuha ng pagkakataon makausap sila but honestly, it’s the people around them that makes it hard kase if you’lk go directly to them, I swear to God, sobrang maappreciate niyo kung gaano sila ka-warm pareho. Both good listeners, both madaldal, both full of humor.

I really don’ t know how people can hate these two. They are both wonderful beings. Don’t let politics eat y’all, open your eyes and learn how to appreciate people and things.

Thoughts on Marcos and Robredo’s Electoral Protest

Let me just discuss information and express my thoughts about the motion/manifestation that VP Leni Robredo’s camp and former senator Bongbong Marcos’ signed last February 6, 2018.

Former senator Bongbong Marcos challenged VP Leni Robredo and her camp to sign a joint motion in order to hasten and withdraw all motions to clear the way to the recount of votes last 2016 elections after the former senator accused the duly elect vice president of cheating. “I’ve done everything possible to speed up this election protest,” Marcos said in a statement. “At this point, the only thing left is for Mrs. Robredo to sign the document. We are waiting.”

February 6, Tuesday — Atty. Romulo Macalintal, VP Leni Robredo’s election lawyer, responded to Mr. Marcos’ dare. “I am inviting Mr Marcos and his lawyer tomorrow (February 7, 2018) at 9 am to sign a joint motion,” he said. “This is to confirm that we are not causing the delay in the recount of ballots. It is Mr Marcos’ raising of baseless allegations and irrelevant issues that is causing the delay in the recount.”

February 7, 2018, Wednesday — Atty. Romulo Macalintal showed up and presented VP Robredo’s camp’s prepared joint motion to withdraw all motions and acts that may hamper or delay the recount proceedings. The media and people witnessed him sign the motion, however, ex-senator Bongbong Marcos’ camp didn’t show up on the said venue.

BUT don’t you dare think I am not going to mention in this blog post about what Mr. Marcos did that day.

Mr. Marcos showed up earlier that day with a complete set of media. In front of the media, cameras and live videos, he signed a joint manifestation himself. Yes, himself, not his election lawyer, not any representative but himself. If you would remember, VP Robredo’s camp earlier told Marcos to meet them in a restaurant so both camps could sign the joint motion. But the former senator was a no-show on the said venue, hence, he went on another place and on an earlier time.

Moving further, the surprising part here is that Mr. Marcos signed a joint manifestation instead of a joint motion. It’s planting so much questions in my head because to think of it, it was his camp and him who challenged VP Robredo’s camp to sign a motion (not a manifestation) and it would be too farfetch to think they just accidentally filed a manifestation or made a mistake by filing a manifestation instead of a motion. It’s like challenging someone into a boxing fight and you appear to the meeting place with a pair of basketball shoes instead of some boxing gloves, you know what I mean?
