REVIEW: Loreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Tint

So I bought Loreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Tint from Landmark today because I’ve been wanting to have that strong female red shade of lipstick lately so I tried Loreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Tint #115 (I Am Worth It).

It’s not really a lipstick, pal. It’s called lip tint but for me, I prefer to call it lip paint. You’ll know why after you read this review.

To begin with, here’s the packaging photos of this lip paint so that you have something to compare to when buying because fakes are so rampant in the cosmetics world.

That’s the box package of the product. You can buy it from SM Department store, Landmark or from Loreal’s official store in Lazada or Shopee.

Moving on, I really like the applicator because it’s leaf shaped — helps you shape the paint along your lips — and it’s slightly slanted for easier press.

Now going to the liquid formula, it smells good. It smells like a blend of soft chemical and creamy scent, it’s not like Kylie’s Liquid Lipstick or the usual liquid lipsticks that smells sweet or like vanilla chocolates.

Before I put it on my lips, I did a swatch first so that you guys can see the shade of this lip paint on skin.

The one on the left most is the blended one, happens when you put this lip paint on minimal amount and rub your lips together to spread the color out.

The middle one is also a blended one but I used the brush to spread it out a bit, happens when you glide the lip paint across your lips.

The right most is the dabbed one, happens when you just tap the applicator on your lips giving out a concentrated pigment on your lips.

So now, I applied the product on my lips and I gotta say that it’s SUPER lightweight. It’s not heavy like the typical liquid lipsticks. It’s also easy to spread with it’s poster paint kind of texture, it’s just like staining your lips which is totally cool.

It’s highly pigmented as well if you apply it evenly giving your lips that strong female red shade — love it!

It’s also somehow waterproof, it may fade a bit but it won’t wash off even if you drink water. It’s also not kissproof so you might wanna try to press your lips on a white tissue paper and leave a light kiss mark there — yepp, you can do that.

Does it crack like the typical liquid lipsticks? The answer is no.

As I’ve said, it’s texture is like a poster paint that it stains your lips and gets absorbed by you lips. It’s not like the conventional lipstick that lays on top of your lips or matte liquid lipsticks that cracks at the middle of the day. It’s also not like the usual lip tints that easily oxidizes and fades out that’s why I really prefer to call this product a lip paint.
